Jean Roy


Jean Roy, who co-founded Eurêka ! Productions in 1999, produces standalone documentaries, documentary series and multimedia projects including webdoc series, interactive sites, mobile apps and games. His credits include From Montréal (best cultural documentary, Gémeaux 2013), Le Sexe autour du monde (TV5), Des écoles pas comme les autres (TV5), L’Art érotique (ICI ARTV), Marchés sur terre (TV5), Un rêve américain (Canal D) and Cinéma Québécois (Télé-Québec) as well as the medium-length film directed by Halima Elkhatabi, La tête contre le mur (special mention, Prix Pierre et Yolande Perrault).

France has worked in television for more than 25 years. She launched her career at SDA and Sovimage, where she worked on popular series such as Les grands procès, Steinberg, Des crimes et des hommes, Les procès chocs and Dossiers Justice.

In 1999, she founded Les Productions Eurêka ! inc. with Jean Roy, where she has produced documentaries (features, medium-length films, series) and web content for broadcasters such as TV5, Canal D, ARTV, Radio-Canada and Télé-Québec.

Michel Seydoux

Producer of the famous Cyrano de Bergerac with Gérard Depardieu in the title role, Michel Seydoux is the co-producer of Don Giovanni by Same old song and Smoking No smoking by Alain Resnais and most of the works of Russian Nikita Mikhalkov, including Burnt by the Sun, winner of Academy Award Best Foreign Language Film in 1995. He was also a two-time finalist at the BAFTAs and recipient of the Césars awards.

Michel Seydoux sits on the board of directors of production companies Pathé and Gaumont, the two giants of French cinema. In addition to being the owner of Camera One, he is a partner in Camera One Television which produces numerous documentaries for major French channels. Michel has joined the Eurêka team! at the end of 2019.
